URBAN WOOD PRODUCTS
The recycling and utilization of the wood produced by our residential tree service is an important philosophy of Grace Tree Service. We utilize 100% of all woody material, biomass, wood chips, logs, and firewood.
Merchantable logs are sold to a local lumber mill to be sawed into lumber after they are brought to our yard, trimmed, and checked for metal.
Wood chips are sold to the public for landscape mulch, animal bedding, and other uses. A delivery service is available for wood chips.
The firewood is sold to the public out of our yard, or given to charity to help those who cannot gather firewood on their own. A delivery service is available for firewood.
Hardwood logs and other logs that do not meet mill specifications are milled on our own portable saw mill. These logs are converted into beams, timbers, full dimension lumber, and large table-top or counter-top slabs. Some of the hardwood species are; maple, birch, ash, aspen, sycamore, walnut, and more. If you like to looks of blued-pine, we have plenty to meet your needs. Presently, we have a tremendous amount of slabs, beams, timbers, and lumber available.

This slab is 60 inches wide and twelve feet long. John gives perspective to
how BIG this is! The species is cottonwood. Beautiful! I'm thinking a
conference table.
